School Council
One of the most important opportunities for our staff and community to work together is through our School Council. School Council gives parents, educators, and businesses an opportunity to serve as an advisory group for the purpose of supporting and improving student achievement. We invite all interested parents and educators to step forward to serve the educational interests of our students through School Council.
The primary goals of local school councils are:
- to strengthen partnerships between the school and community,
- to improve academic achievement,
- to provide support for teachers and administrators, and
- to bring parents into the decision-making process.
The Parkview School Council meets four times per year at 6:30 am in the theater lobby. The meeting dates are 9/11/25, 11/13/25, 2/5/26, and 4/16/26.
The members of the 2025-2026 include Mr. David Smith (Principal), Ms. Grace Keith (Administrative Assistant), Mr. Scott Hague (Teacher and Parent), Ms. Cynthia Cooper (Teacher and Parent), Ms. Tori Collins (Parent), Ms. Amber Norman (parent), Ms. Shannon Mangano (business person and parent), and Mr. John Rowell (business person and parent).
