Literary Magazine/Creative Writing This is a production course, much like Yearbook or Newspaper, which produces the school’s literary magazine. The course incorporates daily creative writing and focuses on improving writing skills. Students will create portfolios from work done in class including poetry, short stories, creative non-fiction and screenplays. Yearbook This is a year-long class that produces the student created yearbook. This class is deadline-driven and incorporates photojournalism, interviewing, writing, and editing skills. Teamwork and communication skills are heavily incorporated. Peer Leadership A class designed to serve other students through mentorship, tutoring and community collaboration at our Parkview cluster schools. Students will learn about their individual personalities, cultural diversity, and communication in order to improve their leadership skills.
