Advanced Mixed Chorus

Open to all male singers & 10-12th grade treble singers (sopranos & altos) with prior choral experience. Students will build on their skills learned in intermediate chorus.

Students will learn advanced concepts of guitar, including tab/advanced notation, jazz chord progressions, and advanced music theory.

Create functional and sculptural forms while exploring various ceramic processes, including the pottery wheel.

Computer Science Principles

Introduces students to the central ideas of computer science and develops computational thinking skills through working with data and the fundamentals of beginning programming. Fosters student creativity through project-based learning.

Once in the course, students will have the option to choose to move to the AP Computer Science Principles course with a signed student/parent consent form.

Class performances and lessons will help the beginning musical theatre student learn the skills and techniques needed to properly perform in a live musical. Students will learn the techniques needed to sing, act, and dance.

Spanish Native Speakers I

This class is designed for students who speak Spanish at home but have had no formal schooling in the language; a placement exam is given at the beginning of the semester to ensure proper placement.
