Schedule Changes
We are not honoring schedule change requests as students were given two opportunities to request changes to their schedule during the registration process last spring. During registration in March, students were provided an opportunity to request changes to their recommended class levels and to choose electives. Students were then mailed a schedule verification form in early May and had an opportunity to request changes at that time. Therefore, we are not honoring changes for the following reasons:
- The class could impact my overall GPA.
- The class is too difficult.
- I no longer need the class.
- I don't like my teacher.
- I don't like my Advisement/Lunch period.
Schedule change requests between 1st & 2nd Semester will also not be honored as we schedule the entire year based on registration each spring. Students/Parents were given an opportunity twice last spring to request changes and we built the master schedule of courses based on what students indicated they wanted/needed at that time.
The ONLY schedule changes that will be made are for a student who:
- is registered for a class for which they already have credit in course history.
- is a senior and needs a class to meet graduation requirements.
AS ALWAYS...THE SCHOOL RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CHANGE SCHEDULES IN ORDER TO BALANCE CLASS SIZE AFTER SCHOOL HAS BEGUN AND INTO SEPTEMBER.
